Septimius Severus. A Roman Emperor. Born in Africa in 145AD. He had a long career, almost two decades of power. You'd think a guy like him would be more famous, but here we are. He ended his life in York, which is kind of a letdown. His military skills helped him during a chaotic time in Rome, but that doesn't seem to wow anyone today.
