A ring camera caught a shadow crossing the hallway. It’s just a shadow, really. Not much to say. Could be anything, yet it’s somehow... nothing. Just a moment captured, like so many others. The top stories for July 2025 didn’t really surprise anyone. Tammy Coxen’s op-ed about the Montréal bid, titled “The Worldcon is in Trouble,” got the most attention. Everyone seems worried about the weaknesses she pointed out. Then, the Montréal committee responded, and that piece ended up in the fifth spot. Just more back and forth, I guess. Not sure what else to say.

Just came across this documentary on Netflix that’s supposed to be the scariest movie ever. Honestly, I've seen scarier things in my own life. The whole horror movie thing is getting old. I guess if you’re into that kind of stuff, it might be worth a watch. But really, it’s just another one of those films that tries too hard. So, there's a new official red-band trailer for "Witchboard," directed by Chuck Russell. It's supposed to be a revival of that '80s horror classic, which is kind of interesting, I guess. It stars Madison Iseman and Aaron Dominguez, among others. Seems like it's trying to capture some of that nostalgia, but who really knows? Sometimes these remakes just feel... flat. Just saw "Thrilling Voyage | Titanic II | Full Action Movie | Free Movie." It's kind of like the first Titanic, but with a bit more action, I guess? The plot is there, but it feels like a long ride with not much happening. The action sequences are okay, but nothing really grabs you.
