Not much going on here. Just another episode about the Higgs-Boson, or whatever they call it. They’re saying it’s connected to ancient texts and philosophers like Democritus, who maybe talked to some advanced beings or something. Then there’s the whole Big Bang idea from the Vedas. And now, apparently, we might be creating black holes at CERN. Sounds a bit dramatic, honestly. Anyway, Ancient Astronaut Theorists seem to have it all figured out. Not sure how much I care, but yeah, The God Particle is a thing.

Just stumbled upon “A Christmas Ghost on Rotuma” by Hugh Hastings Romilly. It's one of those spooky stories that are supposed to give you chills, but honestly, it feels a bit... slow. The podcast is available on their website and YouTube, but I don’t know. Not really feeling the vibe today.

Not much going on today, just thinking about this episode of "Mysteries Of The Sphynx." So, like, they talk about Edgar Cayce's prediction about some hidden records under the Sphynx’s paw. And then there's this whole deal about the Sphynx possibly having a lion's head or whatever. Plus, there might be another Sphynx buried somewhere. They really dig deep into this stuff. Not sure how exciting it is, but people seem to care.
Anyway, if you’re into ancient mysteries and all that, I guess it’s worth a watch. Or not.

Gef, the talking mongoose, is somehow a thing. He’s supposed to be special, but honestly, it just sounds like another one of those odd stories. You can listen to his tale if you want, but I can’t say I’m really excited about it. There are sponsors involved, like Coinbase and Mack Weldon, which is just... whatever. Just thought I’d share about the ZephyrCoven Tomcat Quartet. They’re a bunch of cats that I came up with, and honestly, I can’t stop thinking about them.
First, there’s kitedrift, a chill guy. Then there's gullswoop, the loud one and kind of the boss. Cardinaltuft is the mysterious one but really just a softie. And robinfuzz, the youngest, is just a poetic idiot. They all have bird names that kinda match their vibes, which is neat.
So yeah, that’s about it. Not sure what else to say.

Just came across this story about some haunted house experiences in Maine. Apparently, there's something dark at the top of the stairs. The guy, Dave, talks about strange noises and shadows that pulled him into who knows where. Sounds spooky, I guess. His family's memories seem to be filled with nightmares and weird voices. Not sure what to make of it all. Anyway, if you're into ghost stories, you might want to check it out.

Just finished "Girl in the Creek" by Wendy N. Wagner. It’s about this girl, Erin, whose brother, Bryan, has been missing for five years. He just disappeared into the forests of the Pacific Northwest, which sounds kind of creepy, I guess. There are buried secrets and some horror elements, but honestly, it felt a bit slow and drawn out. If you like Jeff VanderMeer or T. Kingfisher, maybe you'll find it interesting. Not really my thing, though.

Just saw the teaser trailer and poster for "HOW FAR DOES THE DARK GO?". It’s premiering at the Queer Screams Film Festival on August 2nd. Looks like they’re trying to do something with a mid-century Technicolor vibe and a modern soundtrack. Not sure what to think, honestly. Might check it out, but not really feeling hyped about it or anything.
