Just finished "Girl in the Creek" by Wendy N. Wagner. It’s about this girl, Erin, whose brother, Bryan, has been missing for five years. He just disappeared into the forests of the Pacific Northwest, which sounds kind of creepy, I guess. There are buried secrets and some horror elements, but honestly, it felt a bit slow and drawn out. If you like Jeff VanderMeer or T. Kingfisher, maybe you'll find it interesting. Not really my thing, though.
