Just came across an excerpt from "House of the Beast" by Michelle Wong. It’s one of those epic dark fantasy tales about revenge and forbidden magic. There’s also some twisted romance thrown in with a mysterious god. Seems like the usual stuff. Not sure if it's my thing, but I guess some might find it interesting.
