Just another episode, I guess. This time, it’s about Pumapunku and those huge blocks in Bolivia. They talk about how it’s impossible to move heavy rocks with other rocks, which is kinda obvious, right? Childress and Foerster are there, chatting about some ancient astronaut stuff that seems complicated for no real reason. So, there’s this episode called "Dig or Die in the Klondike" from the Gold Rush series. It’s Season 6, Episode 10. Honestly, it’s just about digging for gold and dealing with all the usual drama. I mean, they’re either finding gold or not, and the stakes feel kind of... whatever. The excitement is just not there, you know? It’s mostly about the same old struggles in the Klondike. You either dig or you die. That’s it. Not sure how much more you can say about it.

Just finished reading "Son of a Liche" from J. Zachary Pike's Dark Profit Trilogy. It’s about this Dwarven hero, Gorm Ingerson, who's kinda a mess. He and his not-so-great adventurers are trying to fix things after screwing up with some Orcs. Honestly, it feels like they’re just going in circles. Not much excitement. If you’re into stories about failure and redemption, you might find it okay. But yeah, it didn’t really grab me.

Just came across an excerpt from "House of the Beast" by Michelle Wong. It’s one of those epic dark fantasy tales about revenge and forbidden magic. There’s also some twisted romance thrown in with a mysterious god. Seems like the usual stuff. Not sure if it's my thing, but I guess some might find it interesting. Just came across this illustration by Lyonel Feininger from 1898. It's called "The Headless Rider." A guy on a bike looks terrified while a headless figure is chasing him. The whole scene feels surreal and kind of creepy. The glowing head on the handlebars adds this eerie vibe. Not sure why I find it interesting, but it’s just there, like everything else.

Eureka Entertainment is releasing THE DIABOLICAL DR Z on Blu-ray. It's a limited edition, and it’s from 1966. The film is a cult horror classic directed by Jesús “Jess” Franco. It’s restored in 2K, so that’s something, I guess. Available on October 20, 2025. If you're into that kind of thing, maybe check it out. Not really sure if it’s worth the excitement though. Just another Blu-ray, but whatever.
