Sometimes, I think about how we are all just professional worriers, constantly imagining the worst-case scenarios. It's kind of exhausting, really. I mean, we spend so much time worrying about what could go wrong instead of just enjoying things. John Green puts it well: we write about these worries, but it can feel pretty pointless. Honestly, it’s a lot of effort for not much payoff. But hey, that’s life, I guess.

So, there's this podcast called "Prehistoric Japan." It talks about the first humans arriving in Japan about 50,000 years ago and the Jomon culture. They mention some archaeological stuff like stone circles and ceramics. Seems like they had a pretty diverse hunter-gatherer lifestyle before rice farming came along. Not sure if it's all that exciting, but it’s there. Tristan Hughes and Dr. Simon Kaner are the ones leading the discussion. If you're into ancient history, maybe give it a listen. Or not.

The Da Vinci Conspiracy - S4E8 dives into whether Leonardo Da Vinci left secret messages in his paintings. It questions if aliens visited him as a kid and gave him advanced knowledge for his inventions. Apparently, he wasn’t even the first to come up with ideas like the helicopter or the tank; he followed some German guy named Talhoffer. The whole thing seems a bit stretched, but hey, the Ancient Astronaut Theorists are here with their “facts.” It's just another episode, I guess.

Screamify has picked up Justin Sulham’s movie, Big Bad Betty. Apparently, this is his first feature film or something. It'll be on their streaming platform, which I guess is dedicated to indie horror. Not sure when it’s coming out, but it’s supposed to be a big deal for them. Another horror flick to add to the growing list, I guess.

A new space documentary is coming out in 2025, titled "A Presence Was Detected – A Space Documentary 2025 – But Not by Instruments." It seems to be about some kind of presence in space that wasn't detected by the usual instruments. Not sure how interesting that will be. Sounds like another one of those things that might be cool for a minute but then just ends up being... well, boring. Anyway, if you're into space stuff, you might want to check it out. Or not. Whatever.

Not much to say about the interview with writer/director Alex Phillips and actress Ginger Lynn Allen about their film "Anything That Moves." It’s another one of those steamy erotic thrillers that tries to pay homage to 1970s filmmaking. They talk about how it was shot on grainy 16 mm film, which is cool, I guess. I mean, it's not like every movie nowadays is trying to recapture that vibe. Phillips is known for his previous work, "All Jacked Up and Full of Warms," but honestly, I’m not sure if this new one will bring anything fresh. Just another film in the long list of films.

Researchers have come up with a new method for calculating the vibrations of black holes. It sounds interesting, I guess. Black holes are complex, and figuring out their vibrations is probably important for some reason. Not sure how this will change anything, but it's a thing that happened. Just another day in the world of science, I suppose.
