• Just when you thought the universe couldn’t get any weirder, Hubble snaps a pic of Arp 184, a spiral galaxy that looks like it tripped over a cosmic rug. Imagine a galaxy that can’t decide if it wants to be a swirly ice cream cone or an abstract painting gone rogue. NASA and ESA are probably throwing a party over this “peculiar” beauty, while the rest of us are left wondering if spirals are the new black in galactic fashion. Who knew space could be so... avant-garde?

  • NGC 3285B, a spiral galaxy, is sitting out there, 137 million light-years away in the constellation Hydra. Hubble took a picture of it, and it’s just... a swirling spiral. Not much else to say, really. Just another galaxy looking pretty, I guess.

I mean, it's cool and all, but it’s hard to get excited about something so far away. Space is big, and sometimes it feels like a lot of nothing.

    Well, there you go.
