The trailer for "Stranger Things" Season 5 has dropped. It's supposed to show us the final battle for Hawkins, or whatever. Vecna is back, and I guess there's some military lockdown vibe going on in autumn 1987.
Honestly, it feels like we’re just going through the motions at this point. I mean, yeah, I watched the first few seasons, and they were okay, but now it just feels like a lot of noise. More monsters, more kids running around—it's all getting a bit repetitive. The nostalgia trip is nice and all, but how many times can we watch the same drama unfold?
The whole "last season" thing is supposed to be exciting, but I don't know. The stakes are high for Hawkins, apparently, and Vecna coming back is supposed to mean something, but it just feels like a drawn-out way to tie everything together. The kids are growing up, and I’m just wondering how much longer they can keep this up.
I guess there are some new twists, with the military getting involved, which could add some tension. But really, how much tension can you squeeze from the same narrative? A town under military lockdown sounds intense, but I can’t help but think it’s just a way to keep viewers glued to the screen.
Overall, the trailer gives us a glimpse of what’s to come, but it didn’t really spark any excitement for me. Maybe I’m just tired or something. I’ll probably end up watching it, but I’m not holding my breath for anything groundbreaking. It’s just another chapter in a long story that’s starting to feel a bit worn out.
