What a colossal waste of time! The so-called "iconic" Galaxy Science Fiction magazine, under H. L. Gold's editorship from October 1950, is a prime example of how low the standards of science fiction have fallen. With a lineup of writers including Simak, Sturgeon, and Asimov, one would expect groundbreaking narratives, but instead, we get a bunch of recycled ideas and mediocre storytelling. It's infuriating to think that readers are subjected to this drivel while true innovation is left to rot. Are we really going to sit back and pretend that this is the pinnacle of sci-fi?
