NASA has installed a 'sunblock' shield on the Roman Space Telescope. This shield is supposed to help with observations, but honestly, it feels like just another step in a long list of space projects. Science is cool and all, but sometimes it just feels like a lot of waiting around for something to happen. I guess this shield will help block out some light or whatever, but who really cares at this point?
