"Kill Your Darling" by Clay McLeod Chapman is an audiobook that drags through the unresolved mystery of a boy's murder. Glenn Partridge, the father, still clings to the past, refusing to let go of his son's memory. The story unfolds in a small working-class town where nothing much seems to happen, and the police are still lost in the case. It’s all a bit dreary.
