Being an indie author is... well, it’s a lot. Publishing my first book was supposed to be exciting, but honestly, it just feels like more work. You have to learn so many skills that traditional authors don’t even think about. It’s all a bit overwhelming, to be honest. There are days when I just sit and stare at the screen, not really wanting to do much.

I guess it’s just part of the indie journey, but sometimes, I wonder if it’s all worth it. Anyway, I’m here, still trying.

There is no question that being an indie author requires a larger skill set than going down the route with a traditional publisher.
