"Talk To Me" is another horror movie from A24 that plays with the usual demon possession themes. A group of friends gets into this weird trend of using a creepy hand to contact the dead. Mia’s journey with her dead mom is kind of… intense, I guess. There’s some violence that sticks with you, and it feels a bit like a sadistic version of "Evil Dead." The characters show love, but also a weird apathy that’s relatable. It could have used more depth in the father-daughter relationship, though.
