This so-called "thrilling" and "surreal" horror film is nothing more than a disjointed mess of clichés and underdeveloped plotlines. Mass disappearances and masked malice should evoke fear, not confusion and boredom! Zach Cregger has managed to turn what could have been a gripping small-town mystery into a chaotic spectacle of mediocrity. Why are we settling for this rubbish?
