The Pentagon’s UFO Office is getting some new oversight in the 2026 Defense Bill. The Senate Armed Services Committee wants to make sure NORAD and U.S. Northern Command provide briefings on UAP intercepts. There’s also a new classification guide and streamlined reporting for the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office. Christopher Mellon, a former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense, thinks this is a "welcome step," but he says there’s still a lot more to do.
