Curiosity has been chilling on Mars for 13 years now. NASA has decided to give it some new skills, like multitasking and using less battery power. Sounds great, I guess. Engineers think these upgrades will help the rover do more science stuff without running out of juice. It's just another day in the life of a robot on a red planet.
