  • I guess we’re supposed to be excited about this whole idea of “walking the walk” when it comes to working with paranormal communities. But honestly, it feels like just another cycle of people talking without much intention behind it. A lot of non-believers seem to think that engaging with those who believe in weird stuff is, I don’t know, beneath them or something. It’s like they’re just waiting for a chance to roll their eyes at the believers instead of actually trying to understand where they’re coming from.

Sure, there’s a bunch of talk about wanting to find common ground and work towards mutual goals. But more often than not, it turns into a lecture on why believers should change their views. It’s like a never-ending cycle of “this is how you should think” versus “this is how I think.” Honestly, who has the energy for that? It all becomes preachy and, quite frankly, annoying after a while.

Then there’s the whole thing about tone and language. Non-believers love to throw around the idea that we should attack the argument, not the person. But when they dismiss believers as ignorant or foolish, it just feels like they’re missing the point. Beliefs are a huge part of who we are. If you go after someone’s beliefs, it can feel like a personal attack, whether you mean it that way or not. And yet, every time someone gets defensive about their beliefs, the non-believers act so shocked, as if they didn’t see it coming.

I can’t help but think about my own experiences. I’ve faced the same dismissive attitudes from fellow non-believers, especially when I shared my thoughts on interviews or discussions involving skeptics and believers. I mean, do they not realize how their words land? It’s exhausting to engage with people who don’t even recognize the impact of their language.

At the end of the day, the majority of believers I meet are just trying to find answers to questions that pop up from their paranormal experiences. They’re not nervous dogs waiting for a pat on the head. If you want to dive into the paranormal world, you have to actually be willing to engage honestly, not just talk about it. It's a shame, but a lot of people seem to lack that willingness.

So, yeah, “walking the walk” sounds great in theory, but in practice? It feels like a lot of talk with little substance.

    Walking the walk
The idea of working in unity with those who believe in weird stuff creeps some non-believers right out. I know this as many people have told me exactly that after listening to the podcast I co-host where we talk to people who believe in weird things.

  • A white orb UFO was spotted flying past the Baltimore Bridge. Honestly, it’s just another day in the skies. People are buzzing about it, but I don’t really get the hype. It’s just a white orb, floating around. What’s the big deal?

I mean, it’s not like it’s the first time something strange has been seen around Baltimore. There are always reports of unidentified flying objects, and most of the time, they turn out to be something completely mundane. Maybe it’s a weather balloon or a drone. Or, who knows, maybe it's just someone’s creative idea of what a UFO should look like.

The bridge is a nice spot, I guess. But seeing a white orb? Meh. I've seen better things, like clouds that look like animals or the occasional bird just soaring by without a care. People want to believe in aliens or secret government projects or whatever, but honestly, for me, this is just another boring encounter in a long line of boring encounters.

I watched a video of the sighting. It’s just there, floating around, not doing anything interesting. The comments section is full of theories and excitement, but I can’t really muster any enthusiasm. Everyone is so hyped up about what it could mean, but it’s just an orb. It doesn’t even have a face or anything cool like that. Just a white dot in the sky, and people are treating it like it’s the discovery of the century.

Maybe I’m just not wired to get excited about these things. UFOs, aliens, orbs—whatever. I guess some people need that thrill in their lives, but I’m fine just watching paint dry. The Baltimore Bridge looks the same whether there’s a UFO flying by or not, and that’s just how it is.

So, yeah, if you’re interested in the white orb UFO flying past Baltimore Bridge, go ahead and look it up. There’s probably a bunch of theories and discussions out there. But for me? I’ll just be here, sitting around, not really caring too much.

  • Spent some time this weekend at the Old Diphtheria Cemetery in Wisconsin. Not much to say, really. It's just a cemetery. Supposedly, a lot of people died of Smallpox and Diphtheria back in the 1800s. The tour guide went on about how these diseases took a toll on everyone, but honestly, it all kind of blends together after a while.

The cemetery is located on a hill surrounded by trees. I walked up there, and yeah, the energy was supposed to be intense or whatever. I felt a bit of sadness and loss, but it wasn’t anything I hadn't felt before. There were families buried together, siblings who died young, and it’s sad, sure. But, you know, it’s just part of history, right?

They say the spirits of children linger there, but they didn’t seem too bothered by their situation. Just hanging around, I guess. The gravestones look old and weathered, which is kind of what you’d expect in a place like this. The trees around the cemetery are big and old too, supposedly protecting the graves or something. One tree was called the Mamma Tree, and it was supposed to be all loving and beautiful. Not that I really felt that.

Some people left flowers and trinkets at the gravesites. I guess that’s nice. It’s kind of amazing that after all this time, people still come to pay respects. But honestly, it felt like a lot of buildup for something that just... was.

Next time we’re in the area, we might come back and try to help those spirits cross over, or whatever. If they want to stick around, that’s on them. I’ll probably think about this place for a while, but mostly I just feel... indifferent.

    Anyway, that was my weekend.

  • We’ve all heard the buzz about UFO sightings lately. Seems like they’re on the rise or something. Maycay Beeler’s latest episode of “We Are Not Alone” dives into this whole alien thing with Ron James, a filmmaker who seems to have a lot to say about UAPs, government cover-ups, and the mysterious truth behind UFOs. It’s all a bit much, really.

Ron James, who co-founded MUFON Television and made some documentary about UFOs called “Accidental Truth: UFO Revelations,” shares his thoughts on why the government might be hiding stuff from us. I guess that’s kind of interesting, but honestly, it feels like the same old story. Aliens, government secrets, and the never-ending quest for the truth. It’s all a bit tiring if you ask me.

The episode covers risks and revelations, but who really cares? UFOs are either real or they’re not. We’ve been hearing about sightings for decades, and yet here we are, still wondering if we’re alone in the universe. It’s like watching paint dry. Sure, you can listen to the episode on YouTube, but will it change anything? Probably not.

If you’re into this kind of stuff, you might want to check it out. But if you’re like me, you’ll just scroll past it and go back to whatever else you were doing. The whole UFO thing seems to have lost its charm.

So yeah, another episode talking about UFO sightings and all that jazz. If you want to dive into the details, you can find the episode [here](https://youtu.be/NmTjsbkHCRc?si=mQJiqLgay9PJDoKW). Or you could just skip it and do something more interesting.
